Confluence is the common day on Wednesday 9 December 2015 for the conferences of the Australian Linguistic Society (ALS), the Australasian Language Technology Association (ALTA), the Australasian Document Computing Symposium (ADCS), and the Australian Music Psychology Society (AMPS Inc.)

For details of the times and locations of major events at Confluence (plenary talks, workshops, symposia, posters) please see the Confluence 2015 schedule.

The goal of Confluence 2015 is to foster cross-disciplinary knowledge and connections across the kindred fields of linguistics, computational linguistics, music science, and document computing. To this end, all registrants for ALS, ALTA, ADCS or AMPS are able to attend at no extra charge any of the plenaries, poster sessions, regular sessions and workshops held on Wednesday 9 December.

Confluence 2015 is being hosted by Western Sydney University. The venue is the University’s Parramatta South Campus at Rydalmere.

Confluence 2015 is made possible through the support of our sponsors, shown on the right of the page.
